From 1906 to date Over 100 years of hospitality ......

At the start of the 20th century, the Achensee region became the secret haunt of relaxation-seeking tourists from all over the world. The Tyrolean Earls and noble lords had been using the Achensee as a hunting and fishing domicile since centuries.

Between 1903 and 1906, the Hotel Post came into existence alongside some other small buildings. At that time, horse carriages and the post office were also housed here. 

Over the years, the tiny summer retreat became a modern 4-star hotel. We took the opportunity of our centenary in 2006 to lavishly celebrate the enduring success of the Hotel Post am See. We are deeply grateful to all our guests who have enjoyed their holidays and celebrated their anniversaries with us.

The third generation of Family Kobinger is taking care of perfect recreation. Katharina, the first member of the 4th generation in our family, has been entertaining our guests since February 2004.
