Pertisau on the Achensee

The Karwendel mountain trains make the panorama of the mountains easily accessible to skiers, paragliders and trekkers who are not quite so convinced about mountain-climbing. The valley station is only a 10-minute walk away from the Hotel Post.

In 5 minutes you reach the boathouse and the ship stay bridge of the Boating Association Achenseeschiffahrt. In summer, young families thoroughly enjoy the water activities of  paddle boating and motor boating here. A boat cruise to Gaisalm, Seespitz or Scholastika, combined with a ride in the Achensee train, is a popular leisure activity for guests and locals.

Recreation in winter

There is only one way to describe the winter in Pertisau – fairy tale-like. At 960 meters above sea level we have winters as they should be. Pertisau is a most unique region for Cross-country skiers and winter trekkers in the Karwendel valleys. 150 km of Cross-country skiing trails and pathways cleared out for winter treks leave nothing to be desired.

Tobaggon riding, skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, sledge-riding ... no winter pleasure has been left out. In the Hotel Post in Pertisau you will experience a dream-like winter ambience, which you will never again want to miss.
