Karwendel Nature Park

In 2020, the Karwendel was named Nature Park of the Year. An environment with more than 700 km² of natural habitat, primeval forests and wild rivers starts directly behind Pertisau. Experience this nature first-hand on hikes or mountain tours, climbing tours or also on guided tours with nature park rangers.

During winter, the nature of the Karwendel valleys appears almost untouched. Three valleys behind Pertisau can be explored on winter hikes, by horse-drawn carriage, with toboggans or on cross-country skis. Car traffic is prohibited during this time!

Winternacht
Year after year, hiking by the light of the full moon through powdery snow in the Karwendel valleys is an absolute winter highlight. Such moments in nature are more impressive than anything human kind could create!
